The Threat is built with a 2 5/8 inch barrel diameter which is the largest allowed diameter for USA Baseball competition. Along with that diameter, the bat is going to be built in the one-piece, all-composite construction with a drop 12 length-to-weight ratio. In addition to the drop 12 length-to-weight ratio, the bat’s weight will be distributed evenly across the entire length of the bat. Thus, it will be very easy for a young hitter to whip this bat through the zone and catch up to the pitch velocities thrown in coach pitch, machine pitch or kid pitch baseball.
Lastly, be sure to notice the shape of the barrel on this bat, Rawlings makes certain that the barrel is lengthy and will allow for a large sweetspot!
